Our friend Kara has created lovely, whimsical little works of art out of vintage and new beads that she has added to functional large mesh tea ball infusers. Tea balls make loose leaf tea brewing easy by straining the leaves while the tea is steeping. The hand-beading creates a little weight in the end of the attached chain to keep your ball handy and easy to pull out when the steeping is done. While the mesh tea ball is imported, the beading is all done here in Michigan, often at the desk of Applecore.
