The Guatemalan Republic is one of the Central American countries with a long tradition in producing high quality coffee, often considered among the best in the world. This coffee is produced by various cooperatives belonging to The Sustainable Coffee Association of Guatemala (ASDECAFE). ASDECAFE currently has Fair Trade, USDA Organic, and Nespresso certifications. The varietals of this coffee include Catuai, Bourbon, Pache, and Catimor, grown at altitudes of 4600-6200 feet in the Huehuetenango and El Quiche regions of Guatemala. The fully washed processing method was used. This coffee has been roasted to the dark roast level, and is freshly packed in a 12-ounce bag.
