After two decades of making Michigan-inspired Cedar Shore Soaps and a variety of other goods, we opened a store devoted to Michigan made products. 

Applecore offers Michigan-made artisanal goods, food products, accessories, home goods, bath & body care items and more, that celebrate the art and craft of the Great Lakes State. Housed in a 123-year-old farmhouse on the M-134 Pure Michigan Byway, the shop opened midsummer 2017, and is the new retail home of Les Cheneaux-made Cedar Shore Soaps, as well as products from at least 20 local and Michigan makers.

As always, Cedar Shore Soaps, spa salts, and bug spray are handmade in Les Cheneaux, with all natural, skin-loving ingredients. Other Applecore offerings include Michigan cherry products, locally roasted coffee-- beans and ground, handmade scarves, knit hats and fiber art, original illustrations, art prints, ceramics, natural body care products, up-cycled wool bags, jams, meat and bbq seasonings, mustard, maple products, wood furnishings, stuffed toys, and a limited supply of curated vintage items.
